Our GA positions have been filled for the 2007-2008 academic year. April 1 is the priority application deadline for GA positions.
  • Graduate Assistant (GA), Career Counseling: Provide career development services and programs to WSU students. Provide career counseling and drop in advising, facilitate specialized groups, coordinate a career program, and lead outreaches to campus groups. (20 hours/week, paid)
  • Graduate Assistant (GA), Marketing: Responsible for marketing, promotions, and communications for Career Services. Create marketing and communications plans for each semester for all programs and services of Career Services. Ensure marketing and communications plans are implemented. Provide career advising and lead outreaches to campus groups. (20 hours/week, paid)
  • Graduate Intern, Career Counseling: Designed to equip graduate students with knowledge and skills essential to helping others with their career development, including career/life planning and internship/job search. Internship is designed for students who have studied basic counseling theories, have taken graduate level Career Development course (CoPsy 513), and wish to gain career counseling experience in a university career center. (Minimum of 10 hours/week, unpaid)
  • Volunteer, Career Development: Designed to equip graduate students with knowledge and skills essential to helping others with their career development, including career/life planning and internship/job search. The competencies graduate students acquire through participation in the program will help them perform effectively as career counseling or students affairs professionals. (5-10 hours/week, unpaid)
