Career Assessment and Testing

Used as a part of the career counseling process, there are many career development assessment tools that can help clarify your work values, interests, and skills. Commonly used instruments such as the SII, the MBTI, and the SDS provide important information to enhance personal growth and self-understanding.

Students who are interested in testing and assessment should first make an appointment with a career counselor to discuss their specific needs and interests. The counselor will help determine which assessment(s) are most appropriate, as well interpret the test results in a manner which is most relevant to real life. Your counselor will explain the testing procedures and any applicable fees in detail prior to testing.
