PROMOTING YOUR ORGANIZATION TO WSU STUDENTS AND ALUMNI
Career Fairs
Washington
State University Career Services sponsors two Career Expos of the Palouse
with the University of Idaho each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
In addition, various departments and student organizations sponsor career fairs
throughout both semesters. Contact the person noted on the
WSU Career Fair Calendar to reserve space at a specific career fair.
Mock Interviews
Want to know about a great way to meet and help students you will be recruiting during Expo? The day before Expo, you are invited to conduct mock interviews with WSU and UI students on their respective campuses. Become an educator and provide the kind of skills that will help students shine in an actual interview.
Since mock interviews were first conducted during the 1999 Fall Expo, students and employers alike declared them a great success. Universally popular, schedules are generally filled well in advance. Each interview and critique will last 30 minutes. You may sign up for any two-hour block or more between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM. For more information or to indicate the time you will be available, simply check the box on the Career Expo Of The Palouse registration form and you will be contacted. Your participation includes the following benefits:
- Aid in the development of skills important to the success of WSU and UI students
- Informally meet potential “future stars” in your organization
- Receive recognition in event publicity and 23,000 Expo Program Guides
- Become an educator and have a lot of fun
