Event Details
The Career Expo Pre-Funk at Washington State University is an informal networking event between students and employers. Students and employers are invited to a free lunch at Beasley Coliseum in order to meet each other in a casual and fun setting. Employers have the opportunity to connect with students, casually, before the more formal Career Expo. The goal is to encourage students to mingle with employers without the stress and tension sometimes felt in a more formal environment. As part of the entertainment for this event, there will be prize drawings and prizes awarded for game winners during the Pre-Funk
Come Join The Pre-Funk
Career Services invites your to participate in this event. Last year over 200 students and 20 employers were in attendance. There were many interviews scheduled and even job offers which resulted from this successful and fun event. Based on the prior Pre-Funk's success, we will hold this year's Pre-Funk at a larger venue and are expecting an even greater student turnout. With your participation and support, Career Services hopes to make this event an even greater success!
Donations
We would like to give you the opportunity to donate a prize on behalf of your organization that will be awarded during the Pre-Funk. Popular prizes at the first annual Pre-Funk included two iPod Shuffles, a $50 Barnes & Nobel gift card, a $50 gift certificate to a local fine-dining restaurant, and more!
