What is Job Shadowing?
Job shadowing is the process of you following an individual as he/she performs workplace tasks. This way, you are able to experience the work environment and better understand the types of skills and knowledge that are needed for specific occupations.

Job Shadowing gives you a unique chance to explore one of the most important decisions of your potential career. In Job Shadowing, you have the opportunity to observe the day-to-day realities of working life.

To Get Started with the Job Shadow Program
- Email the Job Shadow Coordinator at CareerServices@wsu.edu.
- Indicate your name, major, year in school, and what types of professionals you would like to "shadow". The Coordinator will follow up with you and discuss next steps.
